Basically they both grind a layer of paint off, exposing fresh, unfaded paint. Use with great care on ridges and edges of panels, the paint is thinner and easyer to rub through to the undercoat - bar

I believe it is a Whitworth nut. If my limited knowledge is correct, Whitworth sizes are a thread specification and the a/f dimensions of the nut are derived from that. Whitworth spanners are strange

Ask them why it is so high when they quote. Having use of a 'normal' car, having a garage to store your classic in and being a member of a club can all greatly affect the cost of classic insurance.

I have used one of the TSSC ones and it does exactly what is says on the box. It is a heavy, well made tool, but having used one in anger, I think it is probably the ONLY way to remove hubs undammage
