Hello Andy, One of your problems could be that you are using WD40, as opposed to a penetrating oil. Try some Liquid Wrench, PB Blaster instead. Have fun. Fisher

Ho;w about heating the nut, followed quickly by a blast from a COO fire extinguisher on the spoke, so that you get contraction of the spoke within the expanded nut. Haven't tried this, but the theory

If this does work, rather than a fire extinguisher, get one of the cans of air that are used for cleaning computers, turn it upside down and spray it, it shoots out the propellant, which is the same
