If you're up north a cost effective solution is to goto a roofing supply company and ask for 'ice guard'. It's a heavy tar paper with a sticky back. Unfortunately, I can't find it down south. You cou

Yup, I got one about a month ago. I did have to make a few modifications to the cover to make it fit. I had to take about 1/4" off the distributor hold down, as it hit the valley pan gasket metla cla

I have the stainless steel flex hose form Summit Racing. I haven't used it yet, but it looks like it will work fine. It has different size adapters for the ends to fit any size cooling system. After

I wouldn't agree to any price until you take it to a machine shop. I know how hard it is to find Rovers in TN. I got my 88' RR engine for $500 w/o EFI. I think mine had about the same mileage as your

I'd take anything you can get for it. I still haven't had any luck getting rid of my 78' engine and tranny. I tried selling it at a Brit car show, but only got a request for just the head. I met the

What is your 'cruise' rpm? Around 3000? Few things you can check. fuel pressure, and fuel bowl floats. Why don't you try to drive around the neighborhood at the same cruise rpm. If you have the same

I can't believe that none of the local parts stores (Napa, Autozone, and Advanced) and even the buick dealer cannot get me a 215 distributor. Will any of the other engine sizes fit? (300, etc) I also

I'm running 195/60-15 Yokohamas and they are fine. They are mouted to 15x5.5' minilites. 185 seems mighty small for a 6" wide rim. 205 or 215 seems to be a closer match. Why not go +1 like I did. To

I'm sure their main concern is whether you will have enough thread left after you add the spacer. I'll be adding a spacer to my front hubs to fit Brembo brakes under the rims. I'll probably end up fi
