The plan is to speed up the event on the short course by timing the slower vehicles that peak out before the 3rd mile. We plan to time them thru from the 1 mile to the 2 mile. Theses slower vehicles

I would think if it's a normal 3 mile or 5 mile vehicle you would be required to run that. The one mile is for slower then normal vehicles, like 100 mph bikes etc. Glen -- Original Message -- From:

The purpose of the 1 to 2 mile short course is for vehicles that peak out at that point. As I see it you will be required to run the full 3 mile course to license as normal conditions would require.

It was entered by John R. Teverbaugh and turned a speed of 153.84 mph, a record. Car was from Concord Calif. It was listed as sports car over 1500 cc.
