- Thanks to all for the very helpful ideas on the thrust washer adjustment. A marble top and 1500 grit wet/dry with WD40 did the trick. Only took about 5 min.. to take off one thousandth. Very pleasant

- Oh tae, Just never heard of testing a generator this way since its drive is normaly taken from the driven belt and not actually driven electrically. Hate to screw it up an have to do it all over agai
