- The inner wing to carb clearence on a TR3 is indeed minimal. I ended up going with an itg air filter that TWM sells. It has a plastic frame with foam sides and top that connects to a sheet aluminum

- Bob it sounds like you were using the adapter that Moss motors sells. I started off with one of those. The one I had may have been slightly misdrilled as some of the oil passages were almost closed.
