I'm running this stuff along a section of my Land Rover's exhaust that
runs directly below a fuel tank. The pipe is about two inches from the
tank. The stuff noticably reduced the tank surface temperature at idle.
It does a good job of holding together through whatever my Land Rover as
crawled through. I put mine on wet and streched it as I worked then
clamped in in a couple of places with metal hose clamps.
