- I compared that to what is listed at the Brad Penn site. They have .15 zinc, .14 phosphorus in all but the 0W-30. The VR1 is .14 zinc and.13 phosphorus for all viscocities. I think both these numbers

- Hi, in the old days we checked voltage drop between the battery and the connections along the way to the alternator. Anything over .1 or .2 volts pointed to a problem. That's 1 or 2 tenths of a volt.
