No need to waste a frame or Ht all you need is a length of 1/4'' thick wall hydrolic tubing (3/4 out side dia), bend it into a "U" shape tap the ends to accept Eye bolts and use the factory soft top

the rear springs on many of the early roadsters set low... right off the boat and have not sagged over time.. the only time the rear spring goes bad is if you see a kink or crack in one of the leafs.
