Who locks a convertible? The easier you make it for people to get in the less likely they will try. I haven't locked mine in 24 years and If I had to do the body over again I would weld the holes up.

The 4 speed has a much lower 1st, gear in it and hence the better acceleration. The rear gearing helps a little but it's the tranny that gets the credit. Mike

You would need a manifold and carburetors from a 1600. The H20 head also has very small ports so don't expect too much HP and the cam is for steady state RPMs and I wouldn't expect that to make any H
