- Most likely the voltage regulator is unhappy. You can replace it, but when I had a similar problem, I found that the real culprit was a lessthan-wonderful battery ground cable. So check all your majo

- If you think those brakes on your 1500 are bad, you should see the old single leading shoe ones on my dad's 47 MG Y type. He put MGB disks on it, because he wanted to drive the car to work everyday.
