This sounds similar to what I found on the first Big Healey I bought. The firewall and footwells had been cut out, apparently to allow for a much larger bellhousing (like maybe for a big V-8). They

This is the first time I've heard anything negative about sleeved brake cylinders. Would this also be a problem with cylinders sleeved in stainless steel? Anybody else have horror stories about this

I talked to the guy with the Nash-Healet last year. It was the first Nash-Healey I'd seen there. He found the car with a Chevy engine and asertained that it had been raced that way in the 50's or 60
