I was checking out the red Brick and looked at the white "fixer upper" and noticed the hood had air inlets where most of us have just stylized ones......was this an attempt to lower the heat? anyone

One thing nobody has mentioned to lower the heat is what I did - I made the front louver panel functional - why wasn't this functional to begin with???? Anyway, I cut thin slots in three rows in each
