Has anyone replaced the neutral safety switch on a '75? Mine has FoMoCo cast into the housing so it is a Ford part, but I don't see a part number on it. Anyone have a part number or interchange infor

Don't know the part # but there is a C clip on the shaft between the bracket and the switch. The switch is similar to all for switches the only difference is the length of the wires, I would suggest

I found out where the part number for the neutral safety switch is located, but can't quite make it out. I wonder if any of you can read it from yours? The wire from the neutral safety switch runs up

To decode the Part#... D=7 first digit of year, 0 second digit of year, Z = mustang so the part should be from a 70 mustang with an automatic and floor shift. Rick located, yours? the around
