The door wire is actually 2 pieces, the long orange wire that runs inside the skin and the 'flexible' wire that runs between the door and birdcage. I have changed them with the skin on before but I g

It's tough to try and feed it through. What I did with my air line (it should work the same for the wire) is to disconnect the wire from the solenoid, tape the new wire to the end, and pull the wire
