- You can but most chop saws have metal shields where a miter saw has plastic shields. The metal shields are there for the sparks of hot metal being cut. Over time, the plastic shield will be destroyed

- Not much you can do to fix an "eyebrowed" chrome rim without having to de-chrome, polish and re-chrome. Can you say big dollars. You'll be better off going with polished wheels as chrome is not alumi
