You can also use a thin flat blade screwdriver and along with a hammer.
Gently try to wedge the screwdriver in between the bearing cup and the
bearing housing using the hammer to tap on the screwdriver. Once you get
the screwdriver in between the cap and the bearing housing, give it a
twist and pop the cover off. To replace the cover, use a socket or pipe
of the diameter of the cap and gently tap it into place. If you don't
have a socket or pipe them just use the hammer and gently tap the outer
edges of the cap all the way around as it will bind if you try to tap
only one area. Don't tap the cap in the center as you risk collapsing
the cover.
