than 11.5" bias ply slicks on the same car on a fifty second course. Using the winning 98 Nationals ASP and AP times as a reference, the DOTs should have been about a second slower than the slicks.

I seen to have a similar issues on 265 45 16 Kumbos. My car in not quite as light, but is still fairly light at 2200lbs. I have had the same problem trying to get the tires to stick. I suspect it is

Another option, since your car is pretty light, is to try a narrower tire. With the width of the contact patch on your 265-section Kumhos, you're probably needing such low pressures because you can't
