Try B&B Electronics. They make some OBD II Data Acquisition products. Theoir web page shows some SAE1708 to RS232 converters, as well as OBDII converter for GM and Ford (no mention of SAE number). h

I perceive that the ideal tire size for my ESP 1988 Grand Am does not exist - and I suspect that holds true for other "torque challenged" cars that can use wider than stock tire sizes. Specifically,

Maybe the Stohr FF has the latest F1 technology - limited slip fron axle. Seems that coupling the front, non driven wheels together through a limited slip of some sort helps eliminate the transients
