I have a 1995 Burb 1500 4x4 with the 5.7L 3.73 gears. It tows 5500LBS just fine. Plenty of room to store stuff, and rides well with the load on the back. Dean Sapp 98 Firechicken ( P4) & F/S

I'll take a stab a this. The rule of thumb here is that ALL race tires are sold WITHOUT warrentee. It is possible that your friend ran over something on the track causing the tire to come apart. ( H
