What is the list advice on running in an engine that has been honed and reringed, the bores having shown little signs of wear, i.e. were prob fairly round still. The books say to not go faster than 4

My advice would be to keep below 4,000 RPM for the first 1,000 miles, and yes don't 'load' the engine by keeping the revs too low. Most important, re-torque the head after +/- 1,000 miles. Regards, J
