1. Loss of cooling fluid. If all other evidence is no leakage, then your head gasket is suspect. Fluid from the cooling jackets, into the combustion chamber, then out the exaust. 2. I would place it

I agree with Julian, chances are the head gasket and head is corroded right there were the water goes within an 1/8 inch of the cylinder, and you are losing it through the tailpipe. This usually pres
