Joe on my 71' it was mounted on the right side of the radiator, within relatively easy reach of the carbs. I've not seen the engine mount you speak of. Maybe a franken-six setup. The real question is

Terry are you looking for the whole aluminum trailing arm section? I have several, two from my 71' and one brand new one, (I can't recall if it is the left or right side), when TRF was dumping parts.

Amen to that, I have experienced the same deafening sound under those conditions. It can be impressive but on a long drive it can be exhausting. Contemplating going to something else in the future. J
