- Hi Graham, 60 or 72 spokes is purely personal preference. You are correct that 48 spokes do not affort much safety margin, especially if you like to press on a bit. Triumph changed to 60 spoke Dunlop

- I forgot to mention. Make sure your existing splined hubs are in good nick bfore putting on new wheels. New wheels on worn hubs will get chewed out pretty quick. Gary Sydney Should are cheaper

- John is correct. A friend's 69 TR6 has Peugot 604 vented front rotors. The calipers are post 90's Range Rover. I drove the car from Sydney to Canberra this weekend and the brakes were very good. Gar
