The April build date is actually from the emissions tag under the bonnet. It is the date that the emissions conform to, not the build date. My 69 has this also, but the build date is Nov 22 1968 CC26

The Goodyear redlines were a non-tube type radial, but the Mich. were tube type. I have ran the Mich's without tubes for over ten years and never had a problem, as long as you have a good stem seal

Hi Matt, I choose the P6000 hi performance, not the sports veloce, it's kinda more like an allseason the sport, but not sure when you'll be driving the TR. Remember, TR's do not like salt and snow!!!

Gernot and John, Forget about the asbestos putty, it is a substance not to be taken lightly, if you even find somewhere to buy it. I used an expoxy to simulate mine and the color was even real close.
