Hi guys,
The LaBoas were built by Al Baurle and John Camp at Competition Engineering
in the 1960s. The Mk.II was mid-engined and looked like a Lotus 23. According
to Baurle 9 Mk.II and the similar Mk.III were built with Saab, Climax, Lotus
and Porsche 911 engines. Good cars. There is one for sale in CA now with a
Corvair mill. Baurle and his son are still around and will help with parts,
etc.
from their shop in Wheaton, Illinois.
