My own definition of a roadster is, I believe from Road & Track from the
1960s: an open car with no roll up side windows requiring side curtains.
I happen to have two roadsters a 1928 Ford pickup and a 1959 Elva Courier.
You may quote me.

Subject: What's a Roadster ?
I am (as usual) in the midst of an argument over the proper meaning of the
term "roadster"
I read somewhere that a proper roadster is an open sports car with no roll
up
windows.
Various websites merely define it as an open car with two seats. Webster
says
it is " an early automobile having an open body and two seats.
Does anyone have any sources I can quote ?
See you in Seattle & Portland.
