SCCA missed the chance many years ago and as one who has been involved
in SCCA both as a driver, an official and politician (Driver since 63,
Steward since 67 and Area 4 Director twice) my guess is they never will
develop the interest, and even if they should, could not cope with the
diversity now rampant in vintage.
Too many groups. Plus SCCA has all it can handle with Regional,
National and what little Pro racing is left.
As a died in the wool SCCA person I have to say its sad, but it is
reality. SCCA will never be a force in vintage.
Just my opinion. Hope I am wrong.
