Thanks to everyone for their answers on AMB transponders.
It appears that nearly every SCCA Region is now selling the transponders for
about $260 (hard-wired). You can now also buy direct from AMB at that price.
The battery-powered ones are now about $290.
When I bought mine (hard-wired) a year or more ago, the AMB price was $300
as I recall, and a few regions of SCCA were selling at $260 so it was a
discount at the time. It looks like AMB has since dropped the retail price.
I have a couple leads on further discounts, will post to the list if those
leads work out.
