I wish some of this track building would occur here in Utah. Intermountain
Vintage Racing[*] will be hosting a race this weekend at the historic airfield
in Wendover, Utah. We set up our course, just over a mile in length, using
a couple hundred cones. Actually, it is usually just me setting it up on
friday evening, but the work keeps me out of the casinos!
There are plans for a real race track in the area someday, but the last
couple of years it seems that the initial investment money has been harder
to get. Gee, I wonder if the stock market plummets the last year or two
have anything to do with that?
