For the record, Bill Adam was NOT involve in the Akin incident. He was not 
even there. Jim Adams was the driver of the other car. The first impact with 
the barrier occurred considerably before the bottom of the dip about equal 
with the apex to turn  4. The car then hit at least 4 times either on the 
concrete barrier or in the immediste vicinity of it. It did not go in the 
woods. It landed approximately at the bottom of the esses immediately behind 
the guard rail. We still have not figured out the physics of how the got to 
where it ended up from where it started. There will be a full report as soon 
as we get all of the details figured out.
