I have run a '69 Lotus 61E Formula Ford at Willow Springs in sleet so thick we left tracks as in snow. Tires were relatively new Goodyear Blue Streaks and seemed to work okay. Of course I grew up in Minnesota so it seemed like ice racing at Lake Como. You won't go very fast but it sure is fun. If the Hoosiers have decent tread and not too many heat cycles on them you should be okay. Dave Mericle Bachelor (of Science) |
