Been there, done that!! Can't recommend it!!! The previous generation (now
2 generations old with the introduction this year of the newest Burban) was
awful compared to today's technology. Heavy, didn't handle, noisy,
uncomfortable, awful gas mileage, poor brakes (still poor). Would strongly
recommend you go no older than '92, first year of the revised models. You
can find those pretty reasonable, I believe. In '96 was the change to the
higher HP engine...big improvement too.

What you might consider is a '95 Tahoe. First year, less horsepower, so
least $$, but still a nice package...Probably can buy a 2WD in the teens, and
well worth it!! An all-around great tow/everyday vehicle.
