OK, guys it's been a while and I know many things have changed, but what is
the hot lick in brakes these days? Should I find some Ferodo DS11 pads (what
I used to run in the olden daze) or should I look toward some of the newer
carbon types? DS11 has always worked for me, but if some of the newer stuff
is better it isn't too late to learn a new trick.

Does the carbon stuff leave dust everywhere? Do I need to worry more about
cooling? Less? Weird bedding techniques? (No, with the brake pads you
 pervert...)

 Nick,

Call Porterfield Enterprises Ltd., 1767 Placenta Ave., costa Mesa, CA 92627
Ph # (949) 548-4470 and tell them the application and tell them R-4 compound.
It's a Carbon Kevlar pad that allows me to stand my MGB on it's nose. Buy
the front pads only and forget the rear drum brake shoes, not worth the
expense. The pads run $137.72 delivered for the MGB and last me about 12
vintage race weekends.

Good luck
