The one great piece of advice is buy a car that's already prepared for
racing - you can probably buy the whole car for the cost of the race upgrade
parts and labour alone!  MGB's seem to go great, but they are in a tough
class, usually a lot of Triumphs and stuff in the 2 Liter class...
