Vintage Mini front end

Hi Gang,

I need to do some work to the front body panels on my Mini
Cooper vintage racer. My question is, will the vintage sanctioning
bodies in the Midwest (USA) allow a fiberglass front end?
It's not a matter of making the car lighter, it's more ease of
maintainance. I know I could do a one piece steel front end, but
the fiberglass would be easier for an old man like me to move around.
