Ah, VW cases. That makes me think that the right stuff is the product from Permatex tht we call "virgin's blood" around the shop ... But I can't find any so I can't tell you what it's official name. It's not the shellac that comes in a brown bottle, but might have shellac or lacquer in the name. Very tacky stuff. Other folks recommend Loctite #518. |
