According to "MG" by McComb: The "Old Specked Hen" was a 1927 14/40 M.G. Featherweight Fabric Saloon in 'grained black fabric sprinkled with gold dust'. The body covered in fabric instead of metal with the seats attached to the frame. After the move from Oxford to Abingdon the car became the factory gofer car. Although it's implied the car was used for many years, I have never seen what finally happened to it. Where did you see the beer. Does it have a U.S. importer? |
