Last year the Midwestern Council club races at RA included 20 and 25
minute practices and a 25 minute race on Saturday, and a 20 minute
practice and 25 minute race on Sunday. Entry fee was $160. This year
the dates are August 23-24 and the schedule and fee should be about the
same.
Midwestern Council runs one or two V/H groups as a part of their regular
club racing program. V/H groups always get equal time with all other
race groups.
MC races are not major productions. They have beer parties instead of
banquets, lunch time track touring is very cheap or free, and the
stewards and other officials are mostly racers. MC races are, in fact,
more like club racing really used to be than most vintage events today.
