I didn't have any problem adapting to various right-hand-drive cars. The
left-hand shifting comes pretty naturally, and the only adjustment was
learning to judge distance on the opposite fender. As for the value of the
car, I would say to only do it if you really love the car (which is what we
all should do). It is unlikely to ever be worth much money. On the other
hand, if you do your own work you shouldn't have a great deal of money in it.
And I have never seen a Hageman car that didn't look dynamite. Good luck!
