I'm afraid I can't help with the location of VIR. But the idea of
reviving
a road course here in the southeast is exciting. Being in the Heart of
NASCAR country (North Carolina) seems to keep anyone from investing in new
road courses in this part of the country. I'm very jealous of the racers who
live near any of the new courses (Gingerman, Thunderhill) It sure would be
nice to have another option for a race venue within a days drive.
