Before this thread unravels, let's look for some definition. I was under
the impression a vintage car met the rules of the class it was raced in.
What's the big deal? Except for safety items, it should be "as raced".
I don't think TR6s' were allowed special rods, forged pistons, and billet
cranks in any period considered "vintage".
But, let's not get carried away. Most of the brakes and wheels I see on
vintage cars wouldn't have been allowed in the vintage era.
If we're not RACING, why get upset about what mods someone else has
effected. My vintage car is for sale because I realized that, for me, the
