        I stand corrected. I was told not to do this when I bought a TR250 with 
        a trashed box and wanted to put an O/D 4 box that I had behind it.

Would have worked perfectly; the 250 boxes were just a continuation
of the TR4A box! I don't think I even needed to use a different 
friction plate, though I might have change the release bearing collar.
