Actually, the program you may want for this is in the pub/misc directory
on ftp.team.net, called gear.sc, which is a spreadsheet file for the
Unix sc program. You type in the tire diameter, section width and aspect
ratio, the car's final drive ratio and gearbox ratios, and you get a chart
of speeds at various rpm intervals for each gear. Sample output is below.
It shouldn't be too difficult to adapt it to whatever spreadsheet you have
handy.
