I'm not sure welding on any cast wheel is a viable idea, but the TVR wheels
in particular are a poor example of wheel casting art. They seem to have been
sand cast in uncle Nigel's back yard using the time honored techniques handed
down from Beowulf. The multi spoke wheels have many exclusions and voids
within their structure, while the "Wolfrace" style are better, they are no
substitute for decent racing wheels designed to withstand the rigors of
racing.
Keep the stock wheels for the "look", but get some serious wheels for serious
fun.
Never one to exceed design parameters myself...<G>
