Nick, Thanks for the bump steer info. Great fix! I think the vertical link,
lower trunion and steering arm are from Triumph Herald. Some of the Herold
stuff was used on the Spitfires but you have to be careful, some of the later
cars were Spitfire specific. I have heard that there are other Steering levers
that fit and do exactly what you suggest. They may be newer Spit or older TR4
I'm not sure, but it may be worth looking into. Dave
