Does it switch in and out with no input from you or is it necessary for you=
to re-engage each time?=C2=A0 If it is the former it might be something as=
simple as the adjustment of one of the interlock switches on top of the tr=
ansmission.=C2=A0 If it is set right at the ragged edge of actuation it can=
be switching from open to closed to open just due to the vibrations.=C2=A0=
Also check the wiring for a loose or poorly crimped connector.=C2=A0=20

Looking for some help with my 73 Stag's overdrive. After some work behind =
the dash instigated by my recovering the center console, on the very first =
drive OD would not stay engaged.=C2=A0 After being switched on it would imm=
ediately begin to flip in and out, not holding OD for more than a second or=
two. Could this be a wiring issue? I'll be checking the switch a little la=
