Don't remove the screw.=C2=A0 That is what keeps the body from turning whi=
le you are making the adjustments.=C2=A0 And you don't have to remove the p=
iston, either.=C2=A0 If the screw tension is set right it will allow the ad=
juster to turn with resistance but will keep that setting when you're done.=

Ok, it=E2=80=99s been a while since I=E2=80=99ve adjusted the mixture on my=
ZS 175 CD-2 carbs on my TR6.=C2=A0 I have the adjustable B1AF needles,=C2=
=A0 removed damper from carb body, removed the fixing screw from the piston=
damper side.=C2=A0 I insert the special tool into the damper tube to turn =
the needle assembly and it engages the hex socket hole.=C2=A0 I can rotate =
left and right but it doesn=E2=80=99t move the height of the needle face on=
the bottom of the damper no matter which way I turn.=C2=A0 =C2=A0 If I pul=
l the needle down from the damper to its lowest spring position and then tu=
rn left or right, the needle seat height does move up and down.=C2=A0 I don=
=E2=80=99t recall having to hold the needle out to adjust mixture.=C2=A0 I =
also can=E2=80=99t easily find the fully lean or rich stop points easily.=
=C2=A0 Ten turns seems a bit much.
Any thoughts greatly appreciated.=C2=A0 Trying to get my refreshed 6 back o=
n the road from a major engine drivetrain upgrade. Thanks I advance=20
