One thing to consider - when they support mobile homes - the openings are
vertical; and on both top and bottom should be a solid piece - especially on
an uneven surface.
You can do the same thing with wood (reference Randall's email) I have some
2x12's that I salvaged pieces and can create four stacks 8 high. I
screwed them together so they aren't going anywhere.
