Eggsactly. The TR6 plumbed its dash vents from the fan output. The TR4,
OTOH, has short ducts that run straight to the firewall where they get air from
the cavity fed by the scuttle vent. Therefore the TR4 can recirculate air from
the dash vents to the fan inlet. The TR6 cannot. But the TR6 can boost dash
vent air with the fan. That's the tradeoff.
